Who we are

Dustin Jacobs was born in Atlanta, GA and raised in the North Georgia foothills. From a very early age Jacobs knew he wanted to be a filmmaker, often acting out scenes with friends on the playground. While at Kennesaw State University, Jacobs became the President of the KSU Cinema Society where he organized the first ever KSU Film Festival and attended the Sundance Film Festival in 2007. In 2009, Jacobs moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue an MFA in film production at the University of Southern California where he studied directing and producing. Among the shorts were his thesis film CONSUMED and the Student Academy Award Semi-Finalist PARA ELLOS. Jacobs upon graduation worked for numerous companies including Warner Bros. and has directed several shorts and TV shows. Jacobs is also a member of the AFI Conservatory and a founder of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.

Charles Thomas lives in Atlanta, Georgia, and a member of the growing Atlanta film community. Initially only wanting to write horror, he's since written comedy, drama, sci-fi, and more, and currently works as a full-time screenwriter for hire in the Atlanta area. Charles is the co-writer of the upcoming Script Summit award-winning feature film Kaylee, Age 8, and the author of "Brine," his debut novel now out on Crossroad Press. His podcast, Atlanta Film Chat, is a weekly show that's covered the Atlanta film scene since 2014, and in fact is what led to More Than a Game's production and the formation of Hooty Hoo Productions.
